November 15 th, 2010 - Update

Our little girl Izzy (also known as Boo) is off to her new home in
Grass Valley. She will have acreage to run and play on and a loving
family to provide with her every need. She will be coming back for
additional training when the weather is good.

Good luck Boo and we will see you in the spring.

Izzy Arrives at Twin Cedar

Izzy comes to us from the great folks at the Amador County Animal Control & Adoption Center.

She is a 19 month old German Shepherd mix that is extremely bright, willing and very affectionate. She just adores everyone that she meets and, per her previous owner, she is house broken, good with adults and children and even gets along with cats.

She does like to chase them but what good herding dog wouldn't! We have had Izzy in with several male dogs here at the ranch and she has done quite well. When she first meets new dogs she can get a little snippy especially with females.

We think with time and proper socialization her behavior will improve.

Izzy is coming along nicely with her obedience training and is ready for her new home now. Since she is a young active girl, a large fenced yard would be nice!
