December 16th, 2010 - Update

Cali is off to her new home in San Jose.

She is going to a couple that are very familiar with the Cattle Dog personality and are going to give Cali all she needs to keep her mind and body happy. She is probably going to spoiled rotten as well.

Her new parents will be keeping us update on Cali's progress via e-mail since they live so far away.

Good luck in your new home Cali and promise not to bother the kitties to much, they are not cattle or sheep!

Cali Arrives at Twin Cedar

My name is Cali and I came from the Amador County Animal Control & Adoption Center. Auntie Marge` thinks I am a Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie cross and I am about 10 to 12 months old.

As you can see, I'm a very pretty little girl! I am very smart and willing to learn, in fact in just a few short lessons I have learned how to heel, sit and down.

I love every one that I meet and get along well with most dogs, although I do not like to share my toys! Auntie Marge` is working on that. I love to run, play and chase things like any Cattle Dog would.

I'd love to have a family to call my own and property to run and play on would be nice too! I am currently sharing a large 100' X 100' kennel with Sally, another Second Chance girl.

I love to go on long walks and to practice my obedience lessons.

If I sound like the dog of your dreams, please give Auntie Marge` a call to come out to the ranch to meet me. I just love visitors!
