Update: October 18, 2010

Our beautiful boy Rocky is off to his new home in Stockton.

His dream has come true, he gets to be a best buddy for a retired gentleman who can spend all of his time lavishing Rocky with love and attention. They hit it off as soon as they met each other.

We could not have hoped for a better home for this special boy. He has gone from being just a yard dog to a loving and much loved companion.

Be a good boy Rocky and the only thing you get to chase out of the backyard is squirrels! Please leave the neighbor cats alone. Ruthie is going to miss you the most!

Update: September 6, 2010

Our big beautiful boy Rocky came back to us today.

His previous owners are moving and will not have a fenced yard for him to stay in while they are at work. Rocky, as with all of our Second Chance dogs, needs a fenced yard. They stated that while they had him he was good in the house, but very protective of his people and property.

He does not like other dogs and definitely does not like
cats.

If you are looking for a beautiful German Shepherd,
come out to meet Rocky.

June 26th, 2010 - Update

Our big beautiful boy Rocky is off to his new home in Murphy's.

This lucky guy will have a very special family to call his own that will take care of his every need. He will have acreage to run and play on and the best part is… he doesn't have to share his new family with any other animals.

Since he is just in the next county, hopefully he will stop by for a visit if he is in the neighborhood. Be a good boy Rocky and enjoy your new life, you deserve it!

Rocky Arrives at Twin Cedar

Rocky is in our German Shepherd Rescue program.

We pulled him from the Stockton City Animal Shelter where he had been since April 4th and was due to be euthanized on may 12th.

Rocky is extremely under weight, about 20 - 25 pounds, but appears to be in good health and seems to be a very sweet boy. His age is unknown but is probably between 3 and 6 years old.

He is heartworm negative and current on all of his vaccines and was neutered on May 11th.

Rocky loves everyone that he meets and is an affectionate dog. He gets along well with most dogs he meets but on occasion has shown some aggression towards other male dogs. He responds well to correction and we feel it will not be long before he is getting along with all dogs. He has had a female boxer mix as a roommate and they got along real well.

He has started his obedience training and is coming
along nicely. He has a nice heel and sit and is learning how to down, stay, and come when called.

Rocky loves to go for long walks and to just hang out with people. You can tell that he did not get enough loving in his previous life.

Rocky would do best in a home where he will not be left home alone all day long. We feel he deserves to be a member of a loving family and not just a "yard Dog".

If you would like to come out to the ranch and meet this wonderful boy, please give us a call or send an e-mail to set up an appointment.
