November 10th, 2010 - Update

Bogey is off to his new home down in the valley. He will have four fenced acres and a female Weimaraner as a new girlfriend.

His new owner is hoping Bogey will start detecting when his blood sugar is either low or elevated. It would be great if he does as that will give his owner
a lot more freedom.

Good luck big boy and we will miss you.

Bogey Arrives at Twin Cedar

Bogey is in our GSD rescue program. He was actually born here at the ranch and is a full brother to our boy Duke. He is seven years old and is AKC registered. His papers come with him.

His owners loved him very much but developed health issues required them to move into assisted living and could not keep the dogs.

We adopted Baby, Bogeys roommate out a few months
back. Bogey is a wonderful boy that just needs a place
and family to call home. He came to us quite fat, about
25 pounds overweight but he has met his target weight
of 97 pounds (Big Boy).

He has all of his obedience training and even works off lead. Bogey is good with other dogs, especially females but would probably chase cats. He is a typical protective male German Shepherd with a big booming bark.

If you are looking for a good watch dog, Bogey is your boy. With his size and presents, I do not think anyone would try to burglarize your house or come onto your property without permission first.

Since Bogey has lived his whole life on acreage, we are looking for a home where he will have room to run. As always, a fenced yard is required.
