Update: Sept. 13, 2008
 This has to be the best match we have ever had. Sandy has found her forever home with a wonderful family to call her own.
Sandy just adores children and now she has two of her very own.
 She has a stay at home mom and a great buddy named Shadow.
Sandy is one lucky little girl but we sure will miss her out her at the ranch. Good luck in your new home and come back to see us when you are in the neighborhood.

Sandy comes to Twin Cedar
Sandy is a great dog that came to us from the Amador Co Animal Control and Adoption Center. She is about 10 months old and we think she is either a pure bred Catahoula Leopard Dog or she may have a little Border Collie in her as well.
Sandy loves all people and is good with children. She gets along well with other dogs but is a very dominant little girl. She probably would not do well with another dominant female dog but any others she should be ok.
She is currently rooming with our other Second Chance girl JoJo and they get along real beautifully. Sandy is a real sponge when it comes to learning. She really enjoys her obedience training and already knows heel, auto sit, down at the side and from the front, come, finish right and left.

Sandy would do better in a home where she would not be left alone a lot or had another dog as a roommate to keep her company when her two legged pack are not at home.
