 Rico found his forever home today with a very nice family with his very own 15 year old to call his own. As you can see he will be very much loved which is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Rico is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years old and our guess is he is a Black Lab/German Shorthair cross. He came to us from the folks at the Amador Care and Control. Rico was very thin when he came to us and was very fearful when he was in his kennel. Since he has been with us, he has had room to run and play and love's having a roommate. Rico will be a good watchdog as he will let us know if anyone is coming onto the ranch.
Rico gets along well with other dogs, male and female but would probably chase livestock if given the chance. Rico is fast willing learner when it comes to his obedience training. He just loves to come out and go to work. He knows how to heel at the left side, auto sit when you stop, sit and down from the front and the side, stay in his sit or down and to come when called. Rico is current on all of his vaccines and is on heartworm prevention. Rico is ready now for his forever home, can he come live with you??
