Twin Cedar K9 would like to introduce you to "Luke"! Luke comes to us from the wonderful people at the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Luke is about 2 years old and per his Wisdom Panel DNA test, he is a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog cross. Luke is learning all of the basic obedience commands and manners and he is doing very well.
Our beautiful boy Luke has found his forever home!This very lucky dog will have acreage to romp and play on and an almost all the time stay at home mom. He will be taking long hikes in the mountains and will get to go camping too! Good luck Luke, we will miss you at the ranch!

Emma comes to us from the great people at the Calaveras County Humane Society. Per her DNA test, one parent was a purebred American Staffordshire Terrier and the other was a Rottweiler/St Bernard. Hmmmm.... we do not see the St Bernard part but regardless of what breed she is, she is a wonderful girl. Emma has not met a person or dog that she hasn't liked!!
Our wonderful girl Emma has finally found her forever home!!! This lucky girl will be spending the rest of her life living on a walnut orchard with her retired new dad. She will have plenty of room to run and play and a stay at home dad. |
Twin Cedar K9 proudly presents...The man "Fonzie Fonzarelli". When Fonzie came to us for a temperament test his hair coat was so greasy and with the cocky attitude that he had, his name was instantly changed from Edward to the Fonz! Fonzie is about 8 months old and is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix.
Our little big man Fonzie has found his forever home right here in Amador County. He will be living on a ranch with room to run, other dogs to play with and a very loving couple who will provide him with everything he could ever ask for. |
Davey hails from the great people at the Calaveras Humane Society. Davey is just under 2 years of age and looks like he could be a Pointer cross. He is a wonderful, comical, friendly, energetic and fun loving kind of guy!! He seems to get along with everyone he meets, people and dogs alike!
Our very special boy Davey is off to his new home in Mokelumne Hill. He has been adopted by clients of ours that will give him everything he could ever ask for. He will have property to romp and play on, 2 Australian Shepherd girlfriends and a wonderful family! |
Fawn comes to us from the very kind people at the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Fawn is a young adult (Vet is guessing she is about 1 year old) German Shepherd mix. Per her DNA test results, she also has English Setter, American Bulldog and Rottweiler mixed in!
Our wonderful girl Fawn is finally off to her forever home. She was with us for 3 months so by the time she left for her new home, she had rock solid obedience and was going on all of our evening pack walks off lead. She has a wonderful new family to provide her with everything a girl could ask for! |
Einstein (aka Moose) comes to us from the wonderful folks at the Calaveras Humane Society. Einstein is probably between 1 and 2 years old and looks like he could be a pure bread American Bulldog. As far as American Bully’s go…he is the nicest one that has ever been through Twin Cedar K9.
Our wonderful boy Einstein, now named Dozer, is off to his new home in Shingle Springs. He will have a loving family to provide him with everything he could possibly want or need, 5 fenced acres and a little sister that might eventually let him play with her! |
Billy comes to us from the Calaveras Humane Society and is a sponsored dog. Billy had been at the Calaveras shelter for a very long time with no interest in him. His sponsor thought he would stand a much better chance of getting adopted if he was out of the shelter. Billy is a young adult and the vet is guessing he is around 1 year old.
Our boy Billy Bob is ringing in the new year in his new forever home. Billy is off to his forever home in Pine Grove. He and his new sister will be back for more training on the weekends in the group classes. |
Mary comes to us from the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Her records state she is a 6 year old Corgi/Pit Bull mix. We personally do not see either of these breeds in her. She looks like a Chi-Weenie on steroids!
Mary is off to her new home right here in Jackson. A very dear friend of ours has adopted Mary and her wish has come true! She gets to be a lap dog and constant companion for her new Dad. |
Darla comes to us from the wonderful folks at the Calaveras Humane Society. She is a young Adult, Boxer mix that is real love bug. We are guessing that she is between 2-3 years old. From the size of her chest she may have some English Bulldog in her as well. Darla is all about snuggling with her people and she hasn’t met a person that she hasn’t fallen in love with!!!
Miss Darla is off to her new forever home in Fresno. She has a loving new family and a very BIG brother for her to boss around. She will be thoroughly spoiled and get more than any dog could ask for. |
Isha hails from the Stockton City Shelter. She is a purebred German Shepherd that was picked up as a stray along with two 7 month old pups that were her puppies. Isha is just as sweet as can be and is a very happy, social girl! She is a young adult that came to us as a bit of a wild child!
Isha has found her forever home with very good friends/clients of ours. They have two other dogs for Isha to play with, one of which is a Second Chance dog as well. Isha will continue her training out here at the ranch. |
Mindy comes to us from the kind folks at the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. She is an adult female American Staffordshire Terrier mix or Pit Bull mix. She is a very sweet and affection little girl who just loves people. She thinks she is a lap dog and has obviously been allowed on the furniture in her previous life!
Mindy has found her forever home in Orinda living with a wonderful lady who will provide her with everything a girl could ask for. The best part of this story is that Mindy’s new mom is our neighbors mother so we will get to see a lot of Mindy in the future. Mindy will be coming back on the weekends to continue her training with her new mom. |
Buck comes to us from the wonderful folks at the Calaveras Humane Society and was listed as a Rottweiler/Chocolate Lab mix. We really do not see either one of these breeds in him however. Buck is very playful with other dogs but he definitely plays like a bully breed. He is a rough and tumble kind of guy. He and our Amador girl will play for hours and then take a nice long nap in their dog house.
Buck has found his forever home and it was love at first sight!!!! Daniel is 9 years old and the feeling is mutual. Buck never even looked back as they drove out of the driveway! Buck will live in San Francisco during the week and property in Mtn. Ranch on the weekends. He has a 18 month old female Boxer Pointer mix to play with and of course Daniel. |
Gretchen is a sponsored dog that comes from the Calaveras Humane Society. She is a young adult and looks like she is a German Shepherd/Border Collie cross. She is about 50 pounds and is a very pretty girl.
Our very beautiful girl Gretchen is off to her new forever home. Her new dad is retired so she will have him to herself all day long. What a lucky girl you are Gretchen!

Laci comes to us from the kind folks at the Calaveras Humane Society. She is being sponsored by one of our great clients with a huge heart!! Laci is a young adult Cattle Dog cross that has had a rough start in life. Laci has been in and out of the shelter system for her entire short life! She is a very energetic little girl that just loves to be with people.
This is another one of those stories that if you wait long enough we will find that perfect home out Second Chance kids! Laci has been through our program a few times and she has now found her forever home. She will have 17 acres in Glenco and a family to take care of her.

Minnie hails from the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. We named her Minnie because she looks just like a miniature Rottweiler. We did a DNA test on her and it turns out she is half Australian Kelpie! Minnie is a wonderful little girl that won Auntie Marge's heart the moment she set her four paws on the property!!
Our wonderful little girl Minnie is off to her new home in El Dorado Hills with one of our clients/friends. Minnie will have two kids to give her all of the love and attention a little dog could ask for!

Bruce comes to us from the kind folks at the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Bruce is about 1 year old and looks like he is a German Shepherd/Lab mix. He came to us as a wild child but settled in nicely. Bruce is a very smart and willing dog who just loves to come out and work with his trainers here at Twin Cedar Ranch!
Our beautiful big eared boy is off to his forever home. We did not think we would have this very nice dog for long and we were correct. He has a wonderful family to take care of him.

Chico hails from the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. He is 3 1/2 years old and looks like he is a cross between a Pit Bull and Shar-pei. This boy has a wonderful temperament and is the happiest guy you could meet! He is doing great with his obedience training! He loves to come out with his trainers and practice all of his skills. He has mastered his lose lead heel, auto sit, down, come and stay.
Our little goofball Chico is off to his new home right here in Jackson. His new dad is retired so he will be able to spend a lot of time with our boy.

Max is a sponsored boy from the Calaveras Animal Shelter. He looks like he is a Lab Mix and is 19 months old. Max is a very happy go lucky kind of guy that just loves everyone that he meets! He is very playful and seems to get along well with other dogs. It is unknown how he will do with cats. Per his surrender paperwork, Max has been raised with children and other dogs and is housebroken.
Our boy Maxmillian aka Max is off to his new home in Pine Grove. Max has been adopted by clients of ours from about 15 years ago. He will have a nice big yard to play in and a loving family to give him everything he will ever need.

Yaeger comes to us from the Calaveras Humane Society and is a sponsored dog by one of their wonderful volunteers. Yaeger is about 8 months old and is a real clown!! He has tons of energy and having rude manners does not even begin to describe his behavior when her first arrived at the ranch. Yaeger is a big boy, Baby Huey would be an appropriate name for him because he is big and a real goofy boy!
Our big goofy German Shepherd Yaeger now known as Jackson is off to his new home in Georgetown. Some very good friends and clients of ours have been fostering Yaeger to help with his training and getting him more socialized in a home environment. Other than his excessive barking, they really liked him. So after two months of fostering him, the decided to permanently adopt him.

Panda comes to us from the great people at the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Panda is 19 months old and looks like she could be a American Bulldog mix. She is a great dog that does not know her own strength! She came to us because none of the volunteers could walk her because of her constant pulling on her leash and jumping all over them.
Our comical love bug of a dog Panda is off to her new home in Jackson. Panda really hit the jackpot with her new family. She gets to go to work with mom during the day and she has a great two legged playmate to play with in the afternoon and evening.

Rex comes to us from the Calaveras Humane Society. They pulled him from the Calaveras Animal Shelter where he had been for two long months. Rex has a wonderful temperament and just loves all of the people that he meets. He is great with other dogs and has been going on our evening pack walks. One of my best friends and volunteers has given him the nick name "Sexy Rexy" which fits him!
Sexy Rexy, now known as Max, is off to his new home in Jackson. This boy just loves people and especially kids so he really lucked out with his new family. Max will be coming back for more obedience lessons so we will be able to keep track of this wonderful dog.

Picabo (now Piper) comes to us from the Calaveras County Animal Shelter and she is a sponsored dog. Picabo is a GBD (Generic Black Dog) that stood very little chance of being adopted because she was afraid of everything in life. Fortunately for her, I have some clients that like to save the dogs like her and offered to sponsor her.
Our little cutie pie Picabo now named Piper is off to her new home in Berkeley for now but hopefully moving back to Calaveras County soon. She hit the jackpot with her new mom who understands having a shy dog and will know how to get Piper to expand her horizons.

Roxi is an 18 month old Kelpie/Border Collie mix. When she first came to us she was very fearful of most people and afraid of our ranch dogs as well. The second day she was here, we worked her in one of our weekend group classes which really terrified her. In less than a week's time, all of Roxi's fearful behavior has gone away. She has turned into a real snug bug and has now learned to heel, sit, down, stay and come.
Little Roxi now named Rosie is off to her new home in Fiddletown. She will be living on a ranch with two loving owners who will give her everything she could ever want in life.

Lady was adopted by a wonderful friend of ours back in September 2009. She has been a perfect companion for her but she has now developed some health issues that make it impossible for her to keep her. Lady is now 10 years old. If you can give this wonderful dog a home please give us a call.
Our precious girl Lady Bug has finally found her forever home. Her story just goes to show that if we are patient we can find that perfect home. In this case, Lady was waiting for Nora! Nora is an old client of ours that we have trained 3 other dogs for her.

Harley (aka Charlie) was adopted by a wonderful friend of ours back in September 2009. He has been a perfect companion for her but she has now developed some health issues that make it impossible for her to keep him. Harley is now 8 years old. Our favorite boy Harley, now going back to his original name Charlie, has finally found his forever home!! Many tears were shed by all of us as he was driving out of the driveway with his new owner. I am sure they were tears of joy but we are all going to miss him very much!! Charlie will be living with a family with 2 other dogs on property outside of Sutter Creek. |
Clancy is a sponsored dog through the Calaveras Humane Society. He was originally listed as a Rottweiler mix which he may be. We also think he may have some German Shepherd, Doberman or maybe even a little Kelpie. All we can say is… he is one nice boy who loves to learn. In his very first lesson he learned how to heel, auto sit, down at the side and stay in a down! A very, very, smart boy!!

Kymani, aka Ky, comes to us from the Calaveras Humane Society. They have him listed as young Dalmatian mix. We do not see that much Dalmatian but more like a Pointer mix. Only Ky's knows for sure and he isn't talking. Regardless of what his breeding is, he is a very nice boy. He is very affectionate and loves to be with people.
Ky is off to his new home in just up the highway in Pine Grove. He will be living with a very good friend of ours who has adopted one of our previous Second Chance dogs several years ago. Ky will have two other dogs to play with and one of them is a very cute and active 4 month old female Aussie. They hit it off almost immediately and just played and played. |
Our girl Dallas comes to us from the folks at the Amador County Animal Control and Adoption Center. She is about 2 years old and looks like she could be a Chocolate Lab/Border Collie cross. She is a very sweet little girl who loves to be with people. She is very smart and willing when It comes to her obedience training and she already knows most of the basics!
Our very cute little girl Dallas is off to her new home about 2 miles from the ranch. She has a new Cattle Dog buddy to play with, acreage to run and play on, and two very loving new parents who will give her everything a dog could ask for. |
