Gonzo

Hang on to your hat, Gonzo is here! Anyone looking for a happy, robust, ready-to-go dog... wait no longer! Mr. Gonzo is moving and having-fun-al-the-time machine. Best part is he has the best nature that one could ever ask for. There is not a mean bone in his body, even though sometimes he tries a little too hard to be your friend.

Gonzo hails from the Amador animal shelter. He was there for sometime, even adopted and returned for being too much of a handful. But once he arrived here at school we found that he just had never really been shown how to behave.  It didn't take long to fall into the training routine and learn not to jump up, drag you around on the leash or bolt out the door. Of course, his manners will require on going practice but training and group classes are now his favorite activity.

Mr. Gonzo is about a year to a year and half old. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations and test heartworm negative. He is very healthy and looks like a Beagle on steroids! Actually he's probably a Beagle and Boxer cross with maybe a little Lab in the background, someshere.

He gets along well with the other dogs and is Lucy's favorite roommate. While he greatly enjoys all form of play, he favorite is to snuggle up to you and just get some pets. A gentle wrestling match would be most welcome, as well.
