Poor Flashback found herself in the
Calaveras shelter with no one to come for her. But things started
to look up for her when the good folks at the Calaveras Humane
Society came and pulled her into foster. They were all set to send
her to Lab rescue when she growled and grumped at another dog..
Now she has another problem… rescue organizations won’t take a dog
that has been branded as aggressive.
So, the CHS turned to the Twin Cedar K9
Second Chance program for help. Now Flashback gets along with most
dogs. She even has her own roommate, Mr. Jesse. Until Jessie got
adopted recently, so now she has the crazy Lab, Lumpy, for a
buddy. And he is a true test of her training because he never
stops. But she likes even him and is having fun. She has learned
to play and she is much happier now that she knows how to be
social or leave a situation she doesn’t like. But she would be
happiest to be your only dog and partner.
 Her
training has gone very well. She knows all the basic stuff, heel,
sit, down, stay, come and finish. She is very well mannered on the
leash, knows not to pull and not to jump up on people. She greatly
enjoys the group classes on the weekends and she would do well to
keep coming on occasion to keep her training up.
But Flash really dreams of her own home.
She loves to play and chase a ball as long as you will throw it
for her. A long walk is the quickest way to her heart. And when it
is all over, she will lay by your feet to watch TV or help you
with the computer.

love to stay and wait for you to come home from work and maybe go
for a walk then watch TV or throw her ball. Camping, rides in the

Our
happy girl realized her dream and went home today! And it could
not be a better home for her. She gets her own family, a fenced
yard and is the only dog... also known as the queen of her realm.
She has her own kids to play with. She was with us for a long
time, but the wait was worth it. Good bye Flashback... be good in
your new home and maybe we'll get to see you again, sometime.
