Our little Kangaroo girl Roo, is off to her new home in Folsom. She came to us as a total wild child and is now a very happy and obedient dog. Roo will have a large fenced yard and a very loving Dad to care for her.
She will even have two new buddies to romp and play with. Good luck little girl, come back to visit us when you can. Your fan club will miss you.

Roo Arrives at Twin Cedar
Roo has come to Twin Cedar K-9 from the wonderful folks at the Amador County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. Roo appears to a pure bred MBD (Medium Brown Dog)
She is very sweet and extremely smart, although a little on the stubborn side. We think she may have some Shar-pei and maybe a little Lab and maybe a little ?????????! We think she is about 1+ year old.
As with all of our dogs, she has been spayed, is current on all of her vaccines and is on heartworm prevention.
She has been with us for three weeks now and is doing great with her obedience training. She love's to play with other dogs and swim in her doggy swimming pool.

Roo is quite the little character, when she came to us her name was Kanga, for Kangaroo. The name definitely fits this little dog. Any time someone approaches her huge doggy run, she jumps up and down, with enthusiasm to come out and play.
With her color and the way she bounces around she does resemble a Kangaroo. We did not care for the name Kanga so we changed it to Roo and she definitely knows her name!
So far Roo has learned how to heel, auto sit when you stop, down from the heel position or from up to 30 feet away from her. She will stay in a sit and down and come briskly when she is called. She even knows some more advanced commands such as: in motion sit and down and finish right and left.
Roo is very easy to get along with and should fit into just about any home environment. She is good with children and did not bother our cats.
If you would like to meet Roo, please give us a call at 209-223-3194 or e-mail Marge` at: margaret@twincedark9.com. |
