Happy Day! Bodie found a wonderful new home! He tried hard during
school and was always so happy that we knew his day would come! He
even has another dog to play with. It doesn't get any better than
this. Goodbye Bodie! You are one lucky dog. Be good and make the
best of your new home!

Bodie
arrived today! He came from Amador County Animal Control. He is a
very striking Shepherd/Lab mix, about 45 to 50 lbs neutered male.
From the time he jumped out of the truck his tail has not stopped
wagging. No matter what the time he's ready to play. He loved to
romp around and play ball. When he's in his kennel, all we hear is
his squeaky toy being exercised,
He enjoys school and training. We had to
start from scratch, he didn't know anything. The first day he
quickly learned to wait instead of rushing the door to his kennel.
This is an important lesson that all dogs shouls know because so
may are lost when the rush out of house an into the street. The he
found that jumping up on people is not allowed. Both lessons went
quickly and with a little more practice he'll have them down.
He looks forward to each training
session with gusto! He loves to be with you and, like all
dogs, needs a job. When he's working by heeling or learning sit he
is very happy.
As of this writing he knows to sit and
down when asked. He is working on these from the front and by hand
signal. His recalls are very good. When taking a break he sticks
right by you. Getting pets and being a partner are what he is all
about.
Of course, nothing beats playtime at the
end of a session. It doesn't get any better that this... just ask
Bodie!
