November 13 th, 2009 - Update
Friday the 13th may be a bad day for some but not for our girl Mabel! It is the best day of Mabel's life. She is off to her new home in Angels Camp where she will be a member of a very loving family.
She will have property to romp and play on a home to call her very own. She is such a great little dog we are not sure why she was with us for as long as she was, other than the fact that she was waiting for this special home.
Good luck Mabel and since you are in a neighboring county, maybe you can come back to visit or join in our weekend group classes.
News flash:
Oct. 4th, 2009, Mabel passed the AKC, CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test with flying colors. Way to go Mabel

Mabel Arrives at Twin Cedar
Mabel hails from the great people at the Calaveras Humane Society and boy is she one sweet little girl. Her breeding is pretty much a mystery abut we are guessing she may have some Beagle and Basenji in her.
She is about a year old and is a very social dog. We named her Mabel because of her Mabeline eyes. She gets along great with all of the dogs here at the ranch, although she can be a little pushy with the dogs that she plays with.
She is currently rooming with our Amador boy Maximus and they are very cute together.
Mabel is coming along nicely with her obedience
training
and knows all of the basics. Obedience
is not her
favorite thing to do however; she would
prefer to play
with all of her visitors, human and
canine! She loves to
play ball and to go on long
walks.

Mabel was very good with all ages of children when we had her at the Adoption Outreach at the Feed Barn on Sept. 12th. Mabel would fit into just about any home situation.
|
She is good with cats, dogs and children. The only thing we ask is that she has a fenced yard to keep her safe.
If you have room in your heart and home for this VERY cute little girl, give us a call to set up an appointment to come out to meet her. 209-223-3194 or e-mail us at: margaret@twincedark9.com.
