May 1st, 2010 - Update
Our beautiful little girl Libby is off to her new home in Calaveras County. She will have 47 acres to romp and play on and a wonderful family to provide her with everything a girl could want in life.
Good luck in your new home and stop by for a visit if you are in the neighborhood.

Little Miss Libby Arrives at Twin Cedar
Libby came from the kind folks at Calaveras Humane Society. Libby is a young adult Australian Shepherd cross that is just as sweet as can be. She adores all people she meets young and old and seems to get along well with kitty cats.
Libby is not to good with other dogs. When she first arrived she wanted to attack every dog that she came in contact with. We have worked very diligently with her and she has shown great improvement.
She will now go up to other dogs to meet them with a nice happy wagging tail and even lets them sniff her all over. I still do not trust her to be off leash around other dogs. However, if another dog challenged her in the slightest way I am sure the fight would be on.

She has been working in the group classes and has done quite well. With time and training she should continue to improve.
Libby is doing great with her obedience training as well, she has very pretty focus on her handler when she is being worked. She has mastered a focused heel, auto sit, down from the side and front, recalls and finishes.
Because of the possible dog aggression issues, Libby should probably go to a home without other dogs.
If you think Libbly is the girl for you, please call or drop us an

to set up an appointment to meet her.
