August 21, 2011 - Update

Little Miss Allie Mae if off to her new home back in Calaveras County. Her original owner has found a friend who will be fostering Allie for the next few months until he can find a home to rent that will allow Allie to join him.

Dad was all worried that his little girl wouldn't remember him! Well, as you can see.... it was a great family reunion!

She is a very happy dog and they were both just a cute as could be heading out the driveway sitting side by side in the front of the pick-up truck!

Allie Arrives at Twin Cedar

Allie comes to us from the Calaveras Humane Society and looks like she is a German Shepherd mix. She is about 1 1/2 years old.

Allie was an owner surrender to the Humane Society when her previous owner moved here from out of state and he could not keep her anymore.

She is house broken, good with dogs, cats and of course...people.

When Allie first arrived at the ranch she thought she was above obedience training (very hard headed) but has now come around and is starting to enjoy her training sessions.

She has mastered a proper heel, auto sit, down from the side and front, stay in a sit & down, and a recall to a front sit. Allie still needs to practice working with distractions!

We are looking for a home that has a large fenced (at least 6 feet) yard and a family to give her the love and attention she is used to.

If she is left alone she will jump a 5 foot fence to go out an romp around the neighborhood.
