October 26, 2011 - Update

Our comical little girl Swiffer is off to her new home in Elk Grove. She was a surprise birthday present for a 7 year old boy.

She has a beautiful home on a golf course (poor thing) a very nice fenced yard and two kids to play with. The father of the family enjoys pheasant hunting so Swiffer can put her incredible hunting drives to work as well.

Everyone here at the ranch will definitely miss this girl but the good news is….she and Jake will be coming back for obedience lessons!

Swiffer Arrives at Twin Cedar

Swiffer comes to us from the kind folks at the Amador County Animal Control & Adoption Center.

Swiffer is about 7 months old and looks like she is a cross between a Springer Spaniel and some sort of Hound!. She is just as cute as can be.

She is sweet and affectionate and loves to come out and practice her obedience lessons.

She is getting along well with her roommate Zeke and
we have had no problems with her, with other dogs.
She does appear to be quite dominant so she should
go to a home that does not have other dominant
female dogs.

When Swiffer first came to us she would be very protective of her food and toys but she is doing much better now.

Swiffer has been working in the group classes on the weekends and has already mastered the heel, auto sit, down from the side and front, recall to a front sit and finish left/right.

Swiffer just loves to play in her doggy swimming pool and then go roll in the dirt. Really, she was a black & white dog when she arrived and we are sure she will clean up nicely!

We will donate a bath with her adoption!
