September 24th, 2010 - Update
Our special girl Sky is off to her new home in Sacramento.
She will have two wonderful people to provide her with everything a girl could ask for. A large fenced yard, beautiful home and two cats to play with.
Sky will be coming back on the weekends to continue her obedience training and socialization.

Sky Arrives at Twin Cedar
Sky comes to us from the wonderful people at the Amador County Animal Control & Adoption Center. She is seven months old and is a real bundle of energy.
She is an Australian Shepherd mix. We see some Cattle Dog and maybe a little Catahoula Leopard Dog as well. Sky is a very sweet little girl that will need a large yard to play in and keep her safe as well as a buddy to play with.
She loves all of the dogs here at the ranch. Sky is coming along nicely with all of her obedience training and has already mastered the heel, auto sit (crooked), down at the side and from the front, stay in the sit and down, come to a front sit.
She is also learning some more advanced commands
such as: in motion sit and down and finish right and
left. Sky was born with a condition called Vascular
Ring Anomaly which prevented her from swallowing
her food.

Dr Bob with Jackson Creek Vet Clinic donated the surgery to fix this problem. Sky is a lucky little girl to receive this treatment and should go on to live a long and normal life. She may need to be fed from an elevated food bowl and eat soft food but other than that she has no restrictions. |
Thank you Dr Bob!!!! Sky can fit into just about any household.
She loves all people and kids, although she is a little shy at first meeting new people. She gets along great with other animals too.
If Sky sounds like she is the dog for you...please give us a call to set up an appointment to come out to meet her.
