August 3rd, 2010 - Update

Our wonderful boy Bandit is off to his new home and the best part of this adoption is…

He will be living right across the highway about three miles from Twin Cedar Ranch. He will have seven fenced acres and two other Cattle Dog buddies to romp and play with.

His new owners are a going to spoil him absolutely rotten and give him every thing this little guy could ever want. They even replaced his old soccer ball with a brand new one. Bad Boy Bear ate his old one!

Bandit and his new buddies will be coming back to the ranch to continue his training and get the two hoodlums in line. We could not have hoped for a better adoption than this.

Good luck Bandit and we will see you in a few weeks.

Bandit Arrives at Twin Cedar

Bandit is a sponsored dog from a private party. His family has moved into an apartment and it just wouldn't be fair to make this outdoorsy kind a guy into an apartment dweller!

Bandit is a 2 and 1/2 year old Australian cattle Dog aka Queensland Red Heeler. He is a very sweet boy who loves to play ball, any kind of ball, but a slightly deflated soccer ball is his favorite. He would love to play all day long if you would join in on the fun.

Since Bandit has been at the ranch, he has been kenneled with other dogs and get along real well with his roommates. His previous owners say he gets along well with cats but loves to chase wildlife such as squirrels, rabbits and anything that will run, including skunks! Yuck!!

Bandit is coming along nicely with all of his obedience training and really enjoys his time out of his kennel
just to hang around with people and the other dogs.
He loves to go for rides in the car.

He has very nice focus on his handler when working on his obedience (unless there is a squirrel in the nearby tree) he could possibly go into competitive obedience such as
Rally-O.

Bandit could be registered with the AKC if his new owners wanted to compete with him.

If you have room in your heart and home for this wonderful boy, please give us a call to come out to meet him.

We are sure he will win you heart as quickly as he has ours! He is a very special boy.
