Dutchess Arrives at Twin Cedar
Hi, my name is Dutchess and I am about 10 to 12 months old. I am a German Shepherd mix and Auntie Margè has no idea what else is in me.
She does say that I am a very nice little girl that needs a second chance at life. I was picked up as a stray in Calaveras County so nobody knows my history.
All I know is I was a normal happy go lucky little girl when I was adopted and then I was brought back 3 weeks later a very frightened dog.
Since I have been at Twin Cedar K9 getting training and socialization I am doing much better! Little Lil is my roommate and we just love to romp and play together and we even go swimming in the big swimming pool that is in are yard.
I love to sit up high on the huge tree stump that is in my
yard, from there I can see all over the training site.
Auntie Margè has tried several times to take my picture
when I am on my stump but every time she shows up
with the camera I jump down and run to the gate so I
can come out to train or play.

Lily and I have been going on the evening walks and boy do we have fun!! Margè says I have a very nice off lead recall and that I play very nicely with the other dogs.
I am good with cats but can be a little bossy at times if a rowdy dog gets in my face. Margè says it is ok for me to tell them to back off and I don't take it any further than that.

I would love to go to a home with a family and big fenced yard. I think I am house broken at least that is what my surrender paperwork says.
Please give Margè a call if you would like to come out to meet me.
