Ruth Graduates from the National K9 Learning Center

Ruth Hartley has successfully completed the National K9 Professional Obedience/Behavior Course in Columbus, Ohio. This is an intensive 132 hour course over a three week period. She had to study and master obedience training, behavioral counseling, and customer relations with dog owners.

Ruth spent over three years training and working with the dogs at Twin Cedar. She also competed in several AKC obedience events. On the left Ruth is taking Luka through the Rally Obedience course at an event in Carmichael, California. She qualified and earned Luka a leg toward his RN title.

Through her hours of hard work and learning at the ranch she progressed to the point where she was ready to formalize what she had learned and complete her certification. In July, 2005 she took the plunge and left for Columbus. It was a difficult program with an aggressive schedule but Ruth was more than up for the task and earned her credentials. Congratulations, Ruth!
