Update:

November 11th, 2008

Stitch finally finds his forever home. He has a stay at home mom and children for him to care for.

Good luck Stitch and in your case, we do not want you to me back unless it is just for a visit. Take care buddy and promise to be a very good boy.

Stitch is back at Twin Cedar Ranch and is looking for a new home.  The folks that adopted him earlier in the year do not feel like they can provide him with everything that he needs to be a happy dog.  Stitch is looking for a home with children (he just loves Children), and a home where he is not left home alone a lot.

He is a very affectionate 3 year old German Shepherd/Cattle Dog cross.  He is current on all of his vaccines, is on heartworm prevention and is neutered.  At first meeting, Stitch is shy with adults, loves kids, and gets along well with other dogs. Stitch knows all of his basic obedience and loves human contact.

Per the last owners, he definitely is not good with cats!.

If you have room in your heart and home for Stitch, please give Marge` a call at 209-223-3194 to set up a time to come out to the ranch to meet him.  He truly is a great dog.

Stitch Arrives at Twin Cedar K9

My name is Stitch and here is my story.  Auntie Marge` thinks I am a German Shepherd/Cattle dog cross.  I’m about 2 years old, neutered, current on all vaccines and I am on heartworm prevention.

My life has been pretty rough so far, I have been in and out of animal shelters three different times during my short life.

Each time I was adopted I became more frightened and then developed behavioral problems. My last home was up in the state of Washington.  Because of my fear, anytime I thought I was in trouble I would submissively urinate on the floor which got me in even more trouble.

My owners were going to have me put down because they did not know what else to do.

Fortunately for me, a very nice man who was familiar with the Twin Cedar Second Chance Program rescued me and drove me to Jackson, Ca.

When I am in an environment that I am familiar with I do quite well.

I love little kids, they can climb all aver me, pull my tail and even try to ride me like a pony and I don’t mind.

It’s the adults that scare me and that is when I submissively urinate on the floor.

I’m working on that problem and Marge` thinks with time and proper socialization I will get better.

I get along real well with other dogs (I love my roommate Shasta) and I even like cats.

I am looking for a home with someone who is willing to work with me and not discipline me when I am afraid.

If you would like to come out to Twin Cedar Ranch to meet me, give Marge` a call at 209-223-3194 to set up an appointment.
