Our beautiful girl, Roja goes home. She is very lucky to get her own family that love her very much. Good bye Roja!

Our newest little girl is here! She came from the Amador shelter and we've named her Roja. She is very sweet and most affectionate. Roja is about a year old, very healthy and current on all vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and currently on preventative. She has also just been spayed and is doing very well in school.

She is likely a Shepherd and Husky mix. But she is very beautiful. In fact, if we ever held a Second Chance beauty context, Miss Roja would win hands down!

Roja is learning how to walk on a loose lead and starting to learn how to sit when you ask and stay when you leave. The stay part is tough for her because she has two goals in life... play and get attention and pets. But she is learning.

Roja would love a family with kids, but the kids need to be gentle with her. She loves to play, but she is not a wrestler. She also needs a fenced yard or kennel. She could be a wanderer so a kennel, fenced yard and walking on lead are important for her.

She loves to go for rides in the car. When we had her at the vet for her spay, she did very well.  But she was a little too interested in the cats. Although she listened she we said "no", she would not be considered completely cat safe.

So, if you are looking for an active, happy, affectionate little girl, maybe Roja is for you.  Please drop us an email or call us at (209) 223-3194 if you would like more information or to come out and meet Miss Roja.

Her trainer said that if he had room for another dog, Roja would be it! She really is a special little dog.
