Reba (now Mollie)

"Reba" now "Mollie" has found her new forever home.

One of my clients from several years ago called to say she had to have her very old dog Pete put down in June.She said she really wasn't ready for another dog but a little voice told her that when she was ready, "She" would find her.

So Kate gave me a call to see what dog's that I had in my program.

Kate came out and fell in love with little Reba. She wanted to change her name to "Mollie" and asked if that would be ok.

Well it turns out Reba's original name was Mollie Mae, and what gets even better is... Kate's middle name is...Mae!! This adoption was meant to be.

Good luck Mollie Mae in your new home. Mollie is so happy in her new home that when kate stopped by to let us know how everything was going, Mollie wouldn't get out of the car to say Hi!

Reba Arrives

Reba came to us from the folks at Calaveras Humane Society (CHS). Reba is 14 months old and our guess is she is a Border Collie/Beagle cross with a lot of other breeds thrown in!!

She came from an elderly woman who lived alone with two other dogs and Reba. Reba is very shy when you first meet her, which probably stems from lack of socialization in her previous home.

When her owner had to go into assisted living, the dogs had to find new homes. Because of Reba's very shy temperament CHS thought she would do well in our program.

Reba is coming along nicely with her training. She knows how to heel, auto sit when you stop, down and stay in a sit or down. Reba is very playful with other dogs and gets along well with cats.

Because of Reba's shy personality she is looking for a home with a single person or a couple without children (their fast movements and loud voice tend to scare her).

Reba is spayed, current on all vaccines and is on heartworm prevention.
