Paija Comes to Twin Cedar Ranch

Paija is a 14 month old Whippadore Retriever or she could be a Labbit. That would be a Whippet/Lab cross.

She is a very shy little girl who was not doing well at the Amador County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center. She was afraid of everyone that came to see her and would run to the back of her kennel and bark at the people who tried to enter.

Since we have had such good success with these scary dog's, Paija came to the Second Chance Program for training and confidence building.
Paija is very much like Bugs our ranch mascot she is now pretty much a normal dog, so we should be able to help Paija as well. Once she gets to know you she is a real snug bug.

Paija gets along with all of the dog's out here at the ranch, boys, girls, big and small and she is very playful. Paija is learning how to heel, auto sit when you come to a stop, down at the side and front, in motion sit and a recall to a front. She seems to enjoy coming out for her obedience lessons although it does not show it in her pictures. She was afraid of the camera so it was difficult to show how well she is doing with her training.

Paija is spayed, current on all of her vaccines and is on heartworm prevention. Paija is looking for a quiet home with a fenced yard that does not have a lot of people activity(at least not for awhile).

If you have room for a wonderful dog like Paija that will need some extra understanding and TLC, give us a call to come out to meet her. We guarantee that once you do you will want to take her home.
