August 26th, 2009 - Update

Missy's dream came true today when she met and fell in love with her new family, and they fell in love with her.

Missy will be living in Valley Springs and will be coming back for our group classes to continue her obedience training.

Missy's new name is Butterscotch or Butters for short. She was only with us for 13 days but made a lot of friends when she was here.

Good luck Butters and we will see you soon!

Missy Arrives at Twin Cedar

Missy arrived today from the Calaveras Humane Society.  She looks like she could be a cross between a Boxer and Lab and is about 1 ½ years old.

She is a very sweet and friendly girl that has absolutely no manners.  She has probably had at least one litter of puppies and looks like she is a very healthy girl.

Missy loves all the people that she meets and seems to get along well with other dogs.  She is currently sharing a kennel with our Amador boy Buddy, and they are getting along just fine.

Missy has started her obedience training, and it is
apparent that she has had no training in her previous
life. She has learned how to heel, auto sit, stay and
come.  Down on the other “paw”….

She is not so willing to give in to.  We are sure in time; she will become a very obedient little girl.  She would rather just sit around and cuddle with her trainers than to do her obedience training.

Missy would do best in a home with a nice fenced yard and a family to love and care for her.

If you are interested in this sweet and loving girl, give us a call to set up an appointment to come out and meet her.
